The main idea of the postcard project was to take a virtual "fieldtrip" to a historical museum website dedicated to one of the women we are learning about in our class. I chose Susan B. Anthony. We were assigned to respond to 5 different prompts, make those the contents of our postcards, and add photos to the front of our postcards. I think this project falls into information skills. I used google slides to get across my learning through the website and our textbook. I took information I previously knew and applied it to compare and fill in the blanks of some of Susan's story. I also thoroughly researched the website I used and transmitted that information to my slides. https://susanb.org/ I developed this 21st century skill by utilizing my resources and `looking back to my textbook as well as the website to create clear, concise, and accurate answers to all of my prompts. The most difficult part was keeping in mind what I learned in the textbook versus what I learned from the website. I needed to keep those two vats of information separate because there were two different questions regarding each area of information. I think I could've improved my work if I put the information into a cuter style of slideshow to make it more visually appealing to my audience. This relates to what I've learned in English, I had to apply my writing skills to better answer each prompt and question thoroughly. Other than that it is a majority of brand new information that I am learning right now.
